Whether you’re interested in strength, flexibility, stamina, stress-reduction, or simply getting fitter, Wazfit classes deliver a variety of activities including Pilates, yoga, Barfit and more.
The small class sizes at my bijou studio here in Kinross allow my personalised attention, a supportive atmosphere, and the flexibility to adapt exercises for individual goals and needs.

Prices range from £4 (participating via Zoom) to £9 (joining here in the studio) with discounts for block bookings.
Types of classes we offer

Yoga
This class is ideal for those seeking a gentle and restorative yoga experience, emphasising flexibility and relaxation.
This is a type of yoga which involves holding passive poses for extended periods and allowing deep stretching of the connective tissues. These practices aim to improve joint and spinal mobility by promoting a sense of moving more freely without discomfort. Stretched muscles perform better and will help you to improve your overall fitness and posture.
We also practise breathing with and without movement, which helps to achieve a feeling of calm mindfulness. Breathing is so important, yet something we rarely think about. With concentration, we can transform our daily lives.

Barbells
A barbell class will sculpt, tone and strengthen your entire body.
It’s a fast way to shape up and lose body fat percentage driven by music. The name of this class comes from the equipment we use – the majority being barbell but also hand weights and kettlebells, focusing on technique and how to safely approach the use of all free weights.
This class is for just about everyone; the simplicity makes Barbell a great starting point to develop strength and confidence around body awareness. The class is performed in sections which include: warm up, squat, chest, back, triceps, biceps, shoulders, core and stretching.

Metabolic boost
This 30-minute HIIT class appeals to those looking for a shorter but more intense experience.
Our HIIT class here in Kinross combines short bursts of high tempo exercises with weights and easier exercises to make time for recovery. You’ll improve strength and muscle tone while maintaining a high heart rate for calorie burning.
The intense sections involve dynamic movements like swing and functional movements performed with weights while during recovery times we use smaller, more isolated weight exercises. This combination enhances calorie burn and is time efficient – a very effective class for overall aerobic and anaerobic fitness!

Pilates
The focus is on the core, the target being to improve overall posture by lengthening and strengthening muscles.
By improving trunk function, you’ll learn to connect and control your muscles through precision of movement and total body awareness. Good balance and posture lead to proper body alignment, which helps to reduce aches and pains.
During the class, you’ll concentrate on slow and precise movements with controlled breathing. Pilates exercises can be adapted to all fitness levels and ages and can help you work on injury prevention, pain relief and a general sense of wellbeing. Strengthening
A strengthening class typically focuses on improving muscle strength and endurance through various exercises targeting different muscles using dumbbells, kettlebells or resistance bands.
The exercises are designed to progressively challenge you, leading to increased muscle mass and tone over time.
Additional benefits include improved bone density, better posture, enhanced joint function and a boost in metabolism. During the class we will perform swinging and compact moves, increasing heart rate and cardiovascular capacity.

Legs & bum blast
A short and intense class focusing on strengthening and shaping your legs and bum using elastic resistance bands and sometimes steps.
We’ll focus on activating poorly performing muscles and get your legs and bum in balance. We’ll work on developing well-shaped legs which will look proportional and fit.
Many of us don’t know how to perform hip rotation effectively and we will also address this, which can improve knee positioning. Legs are so important as our means of getting around so we will target all areas including hip flexors, pelvis, glutes, thighs and calves.
